The Process of Getting Dental Implants

Preparation and Implant Placement
If needed, bone grafting or sinus lifts are performed to create a strong foundation. The titanium post is then surgically placed into your jawbone under local anesthesia, nitrous oxide sedation, or IV sedation for your comfort.
Healing and Integration
Over the next few months, the implant undergoes osseointegration, fusing with the bone. Temporary teeth may be placed during this period to maintain function and aesthetics. Our doctors will review these options with you at the consultation.
Final Restoration
Final Restoration: Once the implant is securely integrated, an abutment is attached to the post, serving as a connector for the custom-made crown, which is then placed to complete the restoration and give you a natural-looking, functional tooth. This will be done by your dentist with our doctors providing all the necessary information.
